Each year, the ADS Aerospace Export Focus Group produces a ‘Global Aerospace Outlook’, with funding support from UK Trade and Investment (UKTI). This report identifies major opportunities for UK aerospace companies in international markets and recommends how these opportunities should be approached. Uniquely, the new-build opportunity data combined in the strategy comes directly from major aerospace companies — based on their own best forecasts. The 2014 strategy includes opportunities for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) thanks to data contributed by ICF SH&E.
Although traditional aerospace markets will remain important for UK industry, the 2013 outlook will reinforce how high-growth markets such as China, India and Brazil will drive global civil aerospace growth.
